The branch was commissioned on February 12 2006 at the emperor chopstick plaza on admiralty Road, lekki phase one with 22 people in attendance. At the inception of the church, there were 3 groups, made up of the choir, protocol and prayer group.
Within eleven months, the church moved to another rented property in the same lekki phase one axis at theophilus orji street off fola Osibo Street. From there, the church moved to acquire two plots of land at – MFM Church Street, off freedom way, lekki phase one. The church was dedicated on November 29, 2009.

The new MFM Lekki Building was commissioned on SUNDAY 4th NOVEMBER 2018, MFM Ministries Church Ultra-Modern Auditorium Freedom Way Lekki Phase One, which is the current location.
Over the years the region expanded rapidly to total of five (5) zones in Lagos, several branches in the south west and a branch in New York (USA)
Out of these branches, seven regions were carved out, namely ;( Ikoyi region, Epe Region, Victoria Island region, VGC Region, Oke ira NLA south west region and Abuja Region
